Oh no she didn't, oh yes she did. Blogging on a Saturday night. The joys of increasing the exercise
is the extra low GI carbs I get to enjoy... hehe. Although my indulgence as I type this blog is an Atkins Choc Mint Bar - guilt free YUMMM. Yes it might be a chemical storm for the clean & lean regimers, but for me, at this moment, its Bliss!!
Welcome to my first weekend blog..... Today I had the pleasure of snapping some family shots for some friends. It felt great to be able to squat and bend, and move around without being so awkward.
Tomorrow is my first CARDIOMAX session at 6.30am. Just like the other night prior to Kickbox those thoughts are entering my head. Some examples: its such a long time, I will probably be the slowest, what if I can't keep up.......my answer to those is Wait and See. You never know Jac, you could surprise yourself once again!
Sunday is also planning day. With 5 full days of work this week, and entering my new training regime, things have to be done. Below is a pic of the dish I cook. This is my lifesaver. It can be work lunch, or quick easy dinner. Simple put it in the wok, stirfry it, and put it into takeaway containers..... I make this into 4 meals. Limited methodology.... just simple throw it in, cook, pack or eat. With a great serving of protein and vegies. I have cut the vegies tonight, as it will be very busy tomorrow, it just saves on prep time.
There is no rule of thumb... but don't go too heavy on the Oyster Sauce. This simply takes one thought out of the equation. I know no matter what gets thrown at me on a Sunday Night, Monday or Tuesday I have the meal packed and ready to go.
I do similar with the kids meals, although they may be a Lasagne or Spaghetti. I would love to be able to say they love vegies, but no my guys are fussy eaters. I wonder if they are fussy because of their taste buds...or are they fussy because of my poor eating habits as a mum, in those early years. Oh well, that's another blog.
Wish me luck again as I venture on to experience another training session with Step Into Life....lets see how we can make this Ordinary Sunday into something amazing.
